# Xyvenra Cloud unsaved edits

The Cloud editor marks changes to a site's name or HTML before they are saved.
Cloud's **HTML source** field is a local CodeMirror editor with HTML syntax highlighting, line numbers, active-line highlighting, and bracket matching. Keyboard users can edit the focused source normally; the editor text stays in the browser and is not sent to an AI provider. Saving and publishing retain the 180,000-byte UTF-8 limit. Oversized draft text stays editable for correction, but Save changes and Publish stay unavailable until it fits. The existing Save changes, Download HTML, and Publish actions keep their behavior, and the preview remains in Cloud's isolated browser sandbox. Leaving or refreshing the page while edits are pending opens the browser's standard unsaved-changes warning. Switching to another site or restoring a saved version asks before discarding editor changes. Deleting a site explains that pending edits will be discarded before asking for confirmation.

The **Publish** button saves the current editor contents and publication setting together. **Save changes** stores the editor without changing the current private or published state. Downloading HTML includes the current editor contents, including unsaved changes.

Starting a new site keeps the current site's editor contents in the browser while the new-site form is open. Choosing **Cancel** returns to those contents. The new site's form draft itself is not saved to the account until **Create site** succeeds.
